A very warm welcome to British Freeride, the UK’s leading freeride academy. Since 2015, we have been dedicated to developing and promoting the sport of freeride - hosting championship events and delivering high-quality U18 performance training in the UK and Europe.
Our focus is on nurturing British skiers and snowboarders into exceptional freeriders, equipped with the technical ability, mindset, and mountain awareness to perform on the world stage.
Through the support of our partners and sponsors, we not only provide U18 training and competition opportunities but also deliver support for our elite athletes competing at the highest levels of the Freeride World Tour (FWT).
We’re proud to work alongside a network of credible brands and influential organisations who share our passion for freeride and actively support the growth and activities of British Freeride.
If your brand aligns with the values of freedom, adventure, and performance, and you’re interested in partnering with us to support our athletes, squads, competitions, and community, we’d love to hear from you.

Freeride is one of the most exciting disciplines in snowsports and, with the Freeride World Tour now fully recognised by FIS, it looks likely that it will soon become a Winter Olympic discipline. We are in exciting times, so if you are a keen off-piste skier or snowboarder you've come to the right place. Come and get involved and choose YOUR line!
British Freeride was first setup in 2015 as a not-for-profit organisation to connect a community and inspire young people to get into freeride.
The vibe and ethos is best understood by watching "LATE", a very special freeride adventure movie made by the original founders of the organisation, Rob Kingsland and Aaron McLean-Foreman... A must-watch, this is an inspiring, uplifting and heart-warming film that we urge every freerider to watch.
Tragically, shortly after setting up British Freeride Aaron lost his life in a skiing accident, and it is therefore with great respect and gratitude that we now dedicate all our efforts to supporting the inspiration and dream borne of Aaron and Rob's first endeavours.
